So I've been trying to find things to keep myself busy since I'm out of college now. I've been working on my airbrush skills and I'm also preparing to write and Illustrate a children's book. Above is an illustration I did in college based on one of the Aesop's fables called "The Mice and the Weasels" It's a little story about how the mice would always loose battles against the weasels. So the mice got together and had a meeting about what they could do. Together they decided that they needed generals to lead their army, dressing them in special clothing. When there was another battle, the results came out the same, only this time all the mice that were heavily dressed could not escape. The moral of the story is that all your dress and garb does not change who you are.

I figured that since my last post was my final character sheet for Powder Monkey, that I'd go ahead and post the final for Sharkie as well.

I haven't been around for awhile, getting my senior thesis finished and graduating from my college. Here's one of my final pieces that was hanging up at my senior show at "Pennsylvania College of Art and Design.

Not much to say this week, busy on the finals and farm work. My dad is in Florida right now getting an operation done so it's been a bit hard along with the school work.

Pencil

During the last few weeks I was introduced to a pretty good animation program. The program works a lot like a light table would, there are a few things about the program that I do not like, but it's still a very great program. It'll save me a lot of time and paper I'd be using to do the animation traditionally. http://www.pencil-animation.org/

Work

Ghaaa all I want to do is work on Powder Monkey. This was a slow week with Thanksgiving break coming up, there were a lot of deadlines that I had to meet before break. I managed to get a few backgrounds done and my professor talked with the animators about cutting any unnecessary scenes.
